TTMS was founded in 1991 from an amalgamation of members from various other local societies. We decided to form our own society which would present popular shows and at the same time, enable members to be a part of a progressive, young, enthusiastic, forward thinking group.

Each year we produce a musical show at the Thameside Theatre in Grays and we have been known to throw in the odd concert. For the past two years we have also helped to promote the arts in Thurrock by participating in the seasonal extravaganza, 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'.

We are always looking for new members to join our welcoming and friendly society. Whether you aspire to be a star performer treading the boards, or you would prefer to lurk in the shadows backstage, TTMS would love to hear from you.

Rehearsals begin in February each year and open auditions are held for principal parts. The cast rehearse each Wednesday at Orsett Village Hall.
